Kristian Moller
Chief Executive Officer
Kristian Schach Moller, CEO of the Agricultural Commodity Exchange for Africa (ACE) in Malawi, has been instrumental in ACE's growth since 2006. A Danish native, he has introduced innovative trading systems and finance solutions, chaired the Commodity Exchanges Working Group, and contributed to the development of key regulatory frameworks. With dual Master’s degrees in Law and International Business, he is a certified arbitrator and serves on the boards of ACE’s affiliated entities Commodity Services Limited and Chithumba Limited
Prisca Muona
Finance Manager
Prisca Muona is originally from Likoma Island in Malawi. She is a holder of an accounting degree from the Malawi College of Accountancy and is also pursuing ACCA. She has been working with ACE since 2014. Prisca is the Finance Manager at ACE, as well as member of the Senior Management Team, Human Resources Committee and a Trustee of ACE trust. The thing Prisca enjoys the most about her job is ensuring available resources are put to the intended use.
Esther Kawale
Programs Manager
Esther Kawale is originally from Lilongwe, Malawi. She holds an MSc in Strategic Management from the University of Derby, UK, and has experience in human resource management, logistics, programmes and business management. Esther is a Programme Manager and joined ACE in 2014. She enjoys her job because she gets to bring knowledge to smallholder farmers that helps them improve their agricultural practices, thereby transforming their lives.
Jacob Kumwenda
Projects Manager
Jacob Kumwenda, with an MA in Business Administration, has driven agricultural value chain improvements since 2012. As Project Manager at ACE since 2014 and Chithumba's Managing Director since 2023, he leads initiatives connecting farmers to markets and developing new services. His passion for ACE’s inclusive culture fuels his commitment to empowering farmers and fostering a resilient agricultural future.
John Msanyama
Field & Training Cordinator
Originally from Lilongwe, John holds a BSc in Agribusiness Management from Bunda College and specializes in rural development, agribusiness management, and agricultural production. Since joining ACE in 2019, he has served as Field and Training Coordinator, driving field activities and supporting smallholder farmers. John is passionate about improving livelihoods and making a tangible impact in communities.
Moses Mkoweka
M & E Officer
Moses Mkoweka, originally from Nkhotakota, Malawi, holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Sciences with a focus on statistics and computing from the University of Malawi, The Polytechnic. He has a diverse background in research design and implementation, data analysis, project monitoring and evaluation, web development, and database management systems.
